Thanks a lot man! I finally put this to the practice. I did not need the removal tool though, instead, I got a couple of clamps and a pair of helping hands :)

@@RisoBoss It can be tricky and you MUST be very careful not to damage the plastic, but if you put 2 F clamps around the cap you have to screw, and get the big fuel filter container secured on a vice or get the help of a strong person to hold it steady for you while you screw the cap, that will work. Just remember: BE VERY CAREFUL not to crack the plastic. Getting the 2 F clamps to grip to the cap is very tricky, because they slip and you really shouldnt tight them a lot to prevent cracking the pastic, instead, just place them in a way they stick to the grooves of the cap and they should form an angle of around 120º between them. Then, grab the grips of the F clamps and tight the cap with quite a bit of strength, obviosly, dont overdoit if you are super fit, its plastic afterall and you dont want to damage it, but also, keep in mind it will for sure leak if you dont torque it down enough, I know because i didnt tight it enough at first and got myself a diesel fountain 🤣🤣🤣

Why do you need to remove the whole thing from car ? Why can't I just removed the 2 fuel hoselines and the plug on top and then unscrew cover ?

Do you have to depressurize the fuel system before changing the filter? (Remove fuel pump fuse, start car and run until it cuts out)

Hi. I don't manage to bleed after change the filter on a Vivaro 1.9 TDI 2006. I hear some noise (pump?) but filter house doesn't get full of gasoline. I don't dare to start th engine. Do you have any idea what do i do wrongly? Thanks for your quickest reply.

Arpi Szabo they require diesel not gasoline as mentioned in your above comment
