Seal & Refill! | Reset Service with BUDS | Hero4 Session! | DIY LOF!
On the first official day of Spyders in the Redwoods 2015, I sneak in part-2 of the at-home oil change on my demo Spyder RT-S. I finished off the 1st service check list at work the following day. It only took an additional 200cc of oil to bring the level to the top mark after leaving the plugs out for 24 hours during this oil change.
I’ll work on the videos of the trip and event down here as time permits, so please hang tight for a moment… Thanks!

nice to see you go threw all of that on computer.so cool how you can check everything and adjust some.was wondering how it all worked.not that I would ever try any of it.LOL my hands shake to much to not mess something up. as long as there's ppl like me you techs will always have a good job.LOL thank Shaun.

Thanks for sharing this. I got a service plan with the Spyder RT so I won't be doing this for while. Someday I'm sure I will though. That oil filter setup looks exactly like the one on my Kia Sorento. Thanks.

Thanks Shawn, lots of great info on the Spyder I would imagine my 2014 rt is about the same. I do know for sure now that I will take it in to have the service done. Iron Harley I agree it is a long ass ride from AZ to Shawn but I would feel confident that the work was done right. What a reason for a weeks ride lol

when opening oil bottles I tend to cut two wedges in them, one as a vent and one as a spout, that way you know you aren't going to be pouring it all over the place... sort of like opening a can of tomato sauce.

Shawn when you change the filter and slip it back on I noticed you didn't put any oil on the rubber seal.i did to the filter I change like that just so I don't damage the seal.just wander if you ever thought about it .great video and really helpful.

nice, that was interesting, happy its way easier on the Iron lol !!! I'm in AZ, and if i needed any help with any bike,, I'm getting my ass to you lol!! i dont trust these ppl here at the dealer !!
