Been repairing Accutrons after graduating from Bulova School of Watchmaking in 1970. You video is informative. However, it's very important to put your forefinger on the top of the screwdriver that swivels. This actually directs the screwdriver without slippage and damaging the watch. One other point that is a common problem that people make which you did bring out, It's only necessary to loosen both screws only 1/4 turn. DO NOT REMOVE THE SCREWS!

I have a Bulova men's made in 89 for Bell Helicopter 25 years of service. It's made different and doesn't have the top piece for the battery. I inherited it from my step father an engineering test specialist in Arlington Texas. I worked as an engineering technician.

Great looking watch. That model Accutron (railroad approved with cathedral hands) is highly sought after.

That rubber seal was pushed away from its surface and maybe not seal enough to keep dust/water out. Might want to replace that for the watches sake.

Are all Accutron watches battery driven? I bought a Accutron 285 khz long ago and it had stopped. I did not look at the bottom assuming it was a windup of sorts. I will look closer in a bit. It is very accurate..
