Can you maybe draw in another video how you envision this tree in 5 years if the grafts attach successfully? And I also didn’t understand why you removed the deadwood, did it have diseases? Nice video as always

The removed part is epoxy putty. The concept is to tilt it 90 ° sideways and turn the trunk into a gin. We also plan to use gin for the roots that pop out.

Does this method work on any pine species as well? I’ve only read/watched this graft done on junipers.

I dont think it works on every species. Certain species take to different methods of propagation better than others. There are hundreds of species of pine so I would try googling the species you have in mind and going from there

thanks: to let the tool inside until the cutting comes in it, I Hope at least, this Tip which make the diffrence . recently I saw an article from Japan, were he let the cutting in his mouth (like Toothpick) to prevent for infections and drying out

活着すれば、自らビニールを突き破り芽が出てきます。 ちなみにこの作業は5月までは大丈夫です。 6月まで行う人もいます。
