If you've never changed your oil, you might want to start. Not only will it save you money, but when you become more in tune with your car and how to care for it, the more it will care for you and the longer it will last (at least that's the idea). This is an oil change for a 2011 Toyota Highlander, but it should be very similar in any 2008-2013 V6 model Highlander. I started working on my own vehicle after having several problems with "reputable" mechanic shops. I've been part of and heard several nightmares of people bringing their vehicles to mechanics.
