Thanks for the video. Saved me from doing any further research. The installation was really simple and worth it. The filter on mine was only about 1.5 years old, but it was already full of dust and small leaves. Changing the filter made the air much clearer and the ventilation power is much more efficient as well. I don't have to crank the vent speed up that high anymore.

The genuine filter (VW/MANN) is grey when its new, but you seem to be comparing it's colour to a non-genuine (WIX) filter, which is white when new.

Yes, but the one he took out is not a genuine mann filter - just looks like a standard paper one thats gone dirty

Just taken the old filter out of my 94 000 mile golf , as you say its a quick and easy job . It was unbelievably disgusting and can't wait to now breathe clean air again

Is ther any other filters under the panel at window wipers.i have a slight burning carpet smell when my heating is on full heat on setting 1 or 2. Mk5 golf gttdi sport.2008.thanks

Super cheap website just place rego plate # in your car box. You will find correct pollen filter.
