I did mine in a VY recently on jackstands. Wasn't too hard tbh, I changed the front radius rod bushes too and the sway bar bushes and link pins - all Nolathane. Fairly straight forward. I bought new arms with the bushes pre-fitted to save changing the bushes out, made it much easier. And yeah it's transformed the car, steering is much tighter and no annoying squeaks

Man u made it look so easy... it took me ages.. got em out thou had 2 use a drill-petrol - lighter & ball joint press....didnt find the ones u installed till after i got the 2 peice 45318 nolathanes..

Where can I find brand new rear upper and lower control arms for vt commodore or don’t they make them? I’ve looked everywhere online and no one has them, I’m still learning about the mechanisms of each car

Up to VT I are the same then VT II to VZ at different because of the ball joints I learnt the hard way.

Ah yes the ball joints are different but I beleive the bushes are the same tho 😊

Hey mate did you have to remove the brakes to get the control arm out of that ball joint?

Yeah man the rotor has to come off to get it out

Thanks mate, the rear control arm bushes are a bit of a pain to do but the subframe bushes are quiet easy to swap over for some polly ones

Hi m8 i installed nolathane radias rod bushs and now it squeeks/ growns bad. Could it b my old tie rod or the new bushs i put in?

Is the worn bushes the cause of rattle when going over bumps on the road and and tick or know noise when breaking (only tick/knock once) when break but rattles when driving over bumps on the road?

Not to long man should only take an hour or less i can do it in about 30min or less but I do have a hoist and stuff 😊

Would you know if it would be sort of similar with a ve? Got squeeking when I turn and I think its kne of the bushes. Cheers.

Or u could use a ball joint remover & do it yourself i suppose should work? for as much as a mechanic will charge u.

How long did it take to bash the end bush out? I’ve crushed the tube but I’ve spent the whole day trying to belt it out of the control arm and it looks like pits not coming out anytime soon

Hey mate glad you like my vids... I don't need to do anymore of the bushings in my car anymore so it's difficult to make a video about them and I'm not aware of any other youtubers that have made one if I find one or have more work to do on them I'll let you know...
