This video is very helpful. But I found it after figuring out how to do this by myself lol. Thing is though most of the newer Kia Optimas will tell you in the owners manual how to change the Cabin Air Filter and even tell you when to replace it (mine said every 15,000 miles for 2014 Kia Optima) however that does depend on the circumstances especially if you live in clean mountain air South Dakota compared to dusty dry desert air of Nevada. Mine did smell exactly how you described it though. Great video, love the short and to the point explanation and process!

I never understood why we install it with the airflow facing down, I know air enters from the top of the car but when you stick your hand in that slot the blower motor is blowing straight up at the filter.

Can't understand why there are thumbs down on this video when it can help people save money!!??? It's not like your video is doing hundreds of dollars of work. I'm sure there are a lot of fathers who would approve of this video so their daughters can't be taken advantage of by dealerships and mechanics when they can do the work themselves.
