I would never spray brake cleaner into the oil filter housing. Seems kind of crazy

@@GeovanisGarage Well, I wouldn’t want to risk dissolving any of those chemicals into my oil, even if the risk is minuscule and it evaporates quickly. I’ve always left the oil filter housing alone and cleaned around it as the mating surface usually remains spotless. To each their own though.

Won’t hurt anything brake cleaner is pretty volatile and pure will leave nothing behind.

Some particles are smaller than what the filter can catch

Uhhh don't you need to fill the filter with oil before you put it into the car?

Not necessarily. Filter is sideways so you can't put much in anyway

BS - You drive car to worm up the oil ( that's CORRECT )... then, you check the tires while they are worm !!! You need to wait several hours before the tires cool down. Obviously - and according to you, your oil change will last approximately 4 hours !!! You are blocked 🙂
