honestly they should give a better character creator if they're gonna charge to change the pirate. (luckily, my cosmetics don't show any skin so I just had to care about the body type)

A little tip, if you want to use the pirate appearance potion without having to spend money you can use the free ancient coins you get in the plunder pass which is time consuming but then you don't have to delete your pirate this way

The amount of time it took me get mines felt like decades. I found the perfect pirate i felt but my xbox network disconnected so i had to reroll for hours to find it again, but it did not have the stuble, but im happy that i finally got a good looking charater.

Or depending on how long you take in the perpetual pirate generator, in sixty minutes plus! XD

149 ancient coins is the least amount of ancient coins that you can get from an ancient coin skeleton. If you happen to find and kill one of these skellies the potion is essentially free.

I've never wanted to. I didn't rush past the character selection screen and I picked one that I liked so no issues. Not a chance in hell. I would ever erase my 230 days in game just to have a new appearance though

They should just add an option to create more than one pirate instead so you can start fresh without deleting your pirate. I also HATE the option for deletion of pirates, and they should have an option to "unshow" the delete button

You can sometimes earn ancient coins from fof, you’ll hear a skeleton covered in them and once killed he drops a single bag of the ancient coins that you can then use in the emporium

Bought one when it was on sale and havent used it now i have to decline it each time I log in until i want to use it, dont buy the potion unless you are going to use it right after

Ngl I did this without knowing what it did, I was 3 levels from pl and I restarted from the beggining

During creation I spent like 2h until I got my 5 good looking favorite characters, Ithought I can switch and play with all of them, so I got 3 female pirates and after I was done I just clicked the last one I made, it was a fat black girl who looked like some drunk chef. When the game started I couldn't believe that all of my fav characters were deleted and in the end I got to play with fat drunk woman! I was so furious and luckily I deleted my character at the very beginning and spend one more hour looking for a new one 😂

I like changing appearances a lot but don't because it resets all emotes and it's annoying to reassign them on the wheels. Anyone who does change their appearance. Can you let me know if it still resets the emote wheels.

Getting ancient coins is difficult later on but when you just started and you want to do voyages then you will have a higher chance and also a higher chance of you just wait for one to spawn no need to spend no monehhh on a potion you can get easily from your first ancient skeleton kill 😅 and it’s nice that it’s cheap and not like 899 ancient coins

You don't need to pay real money, there are multiple free ways to get those coins. Either by killing ancient golden skeletons or by progressing through the free season pass. It's actually quite easy to get 149

I wish I knew the pirate choice was 'permanent'. Just started playing and kinda disliking my choice and don't want to spend more money because I made a 'mistake'. Would be better if you got a 'First time free" potion.
