In this video I demonstrate how to charge the Battery in a ML-Class Mercedes. This is not a complex procedure, so you should have no issues!
What you will see is that I step by step show you how to do this procedure safely. In particular I have attempted to film all of the steps involved without avoiding the trickier elements of this task.

Nice Drew, I have the same charger and i'm happy with it! :) btw, I saw your old pedals, mine was looking the same so I bought AMG style pedals that changes the old ones and they fit perfect and looks great!

Thanks Mate, I appreciate the feedback! Interestingly my brake pedal was quite worn when I bought the car at 68k, with now 170k it really hasn’t worn much more, but yes I should do something about it one day … it just never makes its way up the priority list! Cheers Drew

I need a new alternator but the nearest place to change is 50 miles away, can a charge my battery using your method on AMG and will it get me there, I drive a 2008 ML CDI Thanks!

I'm enjoying your content. However I've always been told to place a charger directly onto the batt, never tue jump start posts in the engine bay. I can't remember why, but i remember there being a logical reason...

Hi Mate, I just looked up my Mercedes M-Class owners manual to confirm. On page 306 it specifically states “Only charge the battery using the jump-start connection point”. To me personally this absolutely makes sense, however if you do find the other reference please do post a link as I would be interested to see the alternative logic. Cheers Drew
