How to check the park assist sensors to see if they are bad.

3 жыл бұрынA quick video to show you how to check the park assist sensors on a GM Silverado / Sierra to see if the sensors are working or if they are bad. I use a sound meter or db meter on my phone to check and see if they are emitting the ultrasonic sound they should be.

What place did you use for after market replacement? Also mine now says back park assist symbols not available. What ideas do you have to fix that? Thank you

Any sound meter should work.

easier to hold cellphone to each sensor and record. then play back video and listen for sensor that is silent

@@rassoul420thanks so much. Would be hard hearing them make a sound though wouldn’t it? I’d like to test the front ones too so probably best someone is in the truck so I can put it in drive as well.

@plmason12 your phone mic will pick up sound. yes for front you will need to put in drive. good luck with your project. Amazon had sensor 4 for like 20$ if I remember correctly
