Instead of just lifting a dipstick, there's a complex sensor that requires you to burn gasoline. Whoever designed this is, in fact, a dipstick.

Let the car run few minutes and warm up then ask the computer to do a reading if ya do it on a cold engine it’ll take 2 years and 6 months let the car warm up bruh 😕

Sure it's great you can check the oil LEVEL on the go, but what about the quality of it or look to see if it's dirty??? What a completely stupid "feature".

One thing to be careful about. When more oil is added the reading may not change right away so don’t keep adding oil. Drive it for a bit check it and check again. Once you see the gauge move you know it’s the new reading (level). At this point add more if necessary and repeat the abound steps.

The amount of time it took the sensor to display the amount of oil, someone could have checked and added oil via a dipstick and been on their way lol.
