Hey, Vince. Great video. As always. Have you tried supplying power to the Raspberry via the pin strip and thereby bypassing the USB port? Pin 2 and 4 are 5v, pin 6 is GND. Would be an idea.

Should have tested those 8 array 47 ohm Resistors in between the GS GPU and the EE CPU. That was likely the culprit of the black screen fault. PS2's don't have BGA issues. The solder underneath is plenty good.

I'd like to know about that microscope station you're using there. That would come in handy for a lot of projects I could do. What brand / model is yours and how well do you like it?

I have a smart TV remote that links with the TV using Bluetooth and stuff . I'll find it always drained of battery and having to buy AAA like every month . Finally ,took it to a shop cause warranty was over and a new one costs way too much money ,they found it had a 0.007 amp drain on the board ,very minute for hinder its functioning but a drain is a drain ,it was the main chip and it was pre programmed from factory so it can't be replaced .So the shop guy basically put a new physical switch that would cut off power from battery to the board , the remote isn't pretty anymore with the new red switch but hey ,it works like a charm :)

You should set the 3d printer up. I've been using mine for less than a year and already have a problem with it😢. It worked great untill that but now the knob on there doesn't move on the screen. Maybe it's a common fault. Maybe the king of all fixes can find a fix

I believe washing up liquid, water and glycerin but I think "mackjeez" said it all in his comment Vince, bubble machine liquid is extremely cheap, so no need to worry about proportions if you just buy the liquid, even those big bubble makers from toy shops just use the liquid from them, they are very cheap to buy too. Another suggestion Vince, instead of using oil on the outside, like a car battery terminal, coat the whole of the outside that's rusty with a bit of Vaseline or normal car grease, this will prevent water ingress and stop any more rusting. Love the video once again Vince, a good show for all your loyal fans.Thank you for allowing us to see this fix it video and a short sojourn into your fix it life. Again many thanks Vince. I know youtube is becoming harder but your channel is a keeper Vince.

Vince, the problem & solution with ALL these items is obvious. All you need to do is look at the top. The problem is the word "BUSH" and the solution is to throw them all in the bin! I realise you're not doing this for profit and are doing it for the sake of the video, but really, Bush has to be the worst brand for any & all electronics!

I been having a short in my video plug in so I been looking for a mod for a hdmi port soldered to the board. And ran across your video. If you never find a the right cd rom for the leftover Saturn just buy a Saroo I got one for 50 bucks on Alexpress. And don't plan on using game discs anymore. I just wanted to play Dracula X NITM Ultimate version in English Dub even if it is the inferior PSP dub. I still been having a blast. But am worried about that short 😕 hopefully it won't go out completely.

Hey Vince, I'm not sure if the PI 4 is the same as the PI 3 in regards to microSD card compatibility. I know for the PI 3 there was a list of cards known to work and some that are known to not work. I think that the 128GB might be incompatible. If you try a smaller one like a 32GB it might work.
