Texture on the racquet surface? Important? Seems important for slicing the ball. Thanks..

Very helpfull! Could you comment on how important the surface of the racket is for spin? There seems to be a lot of approaches- silica, hole drill techneques, patterns, etc. Which rackets would you recommend for best effect?
@EverythingPadel
@EverythingPadel 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! So the main factors are the arrangement of holes, a carbon, hard surface. and obviously a rough surface, to help get more grip. My best recommendations for spin would be: Adipower CTRL everythingpadel.co.uk/product/adidas-adipower-ctrl-30-padel-racket/ Essnova Carbon everythingpadel.co.uk/product/adidas-essnova-carbon-ctrl-padel-racket/ Nox AT10 Genius everythingpadel.co.uk/product/nox-at10-genius-padel-racket/ All of these have a harder feel, carbon, rough surface and have an arrangement of holes made for spin. Hope this helps! Ewan :)

I'm new to the game and I have couple of questions. First padel uses hard material for racquet aka no string bed so it padel generally bad for tennis elbow sufferers and how prevalent the elbow is? Second question is I'm obviously a beginner and I prioritize comfort and control, you care to throw suggestions my way? Thank you so much, you're awesome.

Hey! The rackets are fine for tennis elbow. If you use good technique, and light, soft rackets then you should not have any problems at all. Of course, here is a suggestion. Head EVO Sanyo. light, soft, comfortable, and control based, with a big sweet spot to help control. This one is great for beginners. everythingpadel.co.uk/product/head-evo-sanyo-padel-racket/ Hope this helps :)

Hi, great video, very helpful. I've been playing with an Adidas V6 for a while now, and after trying a couple of rackets from some friends, I want to step up to a better one. One option would be the Adidas ESSNova Carbon CTRL 3.1. But should I save a bit and go with a better one latter? Is a better racket like the Metalbone CTRL or the Adipower CTRL counterproductive for my begginer/intermediate level? Or is the ESSNova a better option for me now?
@EverythingPadel
@EverythingPadel 2 жыл бұрын
I think it is a better idea to go for a step up like the adipower ctrl or the metalbone ctrl, as you will get on well with them if you have experience. The problem you might have is you go with the essnova (great racket by the way) and then feel you want to upgrade again. So then you are spending a lot more, it may save you money by investing more now!

@@EverythingPadel thank you so much... I was going to do that, but then I got a very, very good deal with the ESSNova... So I took the plunge this morning and ordered it. The V6 will go to my elder son (almost 17), and when I outgrow the racket, he will get the ESSNova and then I will consider something more high-end.

very informative video, thank you. Is "HEAD Delta Hybrid Racket (red/grey)" considered as power or control Racket? and how it differs from Head EVO Sanyo?
@EverythingPadel
@EverythingPadel 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Don! Thanks for your comment, and glad you found the video helpful! We will be uploading more soon. The Head Delta Hybrid is a power racket. It is really powerful. Diamond shape, with high balance, hard feel as well to increase the power and less ball bounce. The Head Evo Sanyo could be described as the complete opposite. It is a beginner racket, with fiber glas (comfortable and soft), as well as a round shape, centred sweet spot. So it is ideal for beginner players who want a comfortable racket that will help them improve. With the advanced racket (head delta hybrid) it will be heavier, and uses much more advanced materials such as carbon (stronger, durable) Feel free to text me at 07704048874, if you want to follow up on more questions! Hope this helped Ewan :)

@@EverythingPadel thank you Ewan, your comment really explained it very well. I already subcribed to see more, thanks for the content. Can you please tell about Head Flash Pro and how does it compare to Delta?
@EverythingPadel
@EverythingPadel 2 жыл бұрын
@@MMAisFedor anytime Don. And yes, the flash pro again uses fiber glass rather than the carbon fiber, which is a softer material that will help comfort. However the sweet spot is a bit higher on the flash pro, and it also has a power foam technology to increase power. Head describe it as “great power at a good price” as it has good power, but isn’t really expensive.
