Only use the recommended oil grade simple and any local brand you want. Brand doesn't matter oil grade, change interval and oil filter matters. Buy any local brand and use recommended oil grade and Genuine oil filter and replace oil with filter at every 5k kms your engine will be brand new.

For selection of oil grade, read your car owner manual. And for brand select the one which counterfeit are not in your local market.

Correct, and he forgot to mention API specs. Older engines with flat tappet cams should not use higher then SL rated oil due to lack to ZDDP, cars such as Alto, Mehran, 1990s Toyotas and older etc.

@@mr_rany1085 Use 5W-30 or 10W-30 these are recommended oil grades for Axio 2006 to 2012 with 1NZ-FE 1500cc engine. Oil grade is not mileage dependant so use the oil grade which is recommended I am using 10W-30 Havoline Formula with Genuine oil filter in my Axio 1.5 X 2007 model 250,000 km driven.

5W-30 oil grade is recommended for Corolla 1.3, 1.6 and 1.8. So use 5W-30 only.

No its too thick for the engine 5W-50 is like 20W-50. Use 5W-30 Caltex Havoline Fully synthetic which is recommended and engine oil grade doesn't have any line with mileage so use 5W-30 only with Genuine oil filter and your engine will be like brand new.

The number before W like 0W, 5W, 10W, 20W is the oil viscosity/thickness when the engine is cold and oil is at room temperature. And the number after W like 20 30 40 50 is the oil viscosity/thickness when the engine is at normal operating temperature. Oil grade doesn't have any link with mileage.

Sunil bhai, if you could make a video where you guide us regarding our driving habbits we should follow for good fuel consumption, I'll be grateful.
