Quite often the smallest pump is not enough, and the largest pump is not really needed. Excellent video tutorial on these on demand pumps. Definitely get a pressure switch. I have a 0.5hp INGCO pump, it's yellow💖

Well done Builders for doing this series - answered ALL my questions regarding backup supply. Maybe link to the other elements of the system like Tanks and Filters and valves. But wow - nice stuff!

Okay, your intelligence on the subject is more than I can handle. I am setting up a Rain water system. I want to hook up a pump to send the water into my house. The house is about 1 meter higher than the outlet pipe. This is a beach house which we use 3-4 times a year. 2 bathrooms and a kitchen sink. So our need for water is low. Also, will I need a separate pressure switch? I need the water to pump when I use it. Thanks.

Can you help me , I have installed a pressure pump for one bath room ( 0.5 hp pressure pump ), after that the flush value of toilet became hard to press as if some air stuck behind it. And water outlet volume is also less. Other taps and shower pressure is good, but this flush value became some kind mystery.

Would there be any specific reason to run 220 instead of 110 if the HP ends up being the same for both voltages All I can think of is power savings if I use 220, but in a residential home with just two people I wouldn't expect the pump to be running that often anyway. So really savings would be negligible I'd guess.
