Another comment I would add is that this is geared toward what I perceived to be larger agencies with a large team and many of us do not have a large team nor a large team needed these days. So maybe have a follow up text on different levels of agency size? Some of the recommendations do not make sense for a small agency.

I'm a small agency, too! We try and speak to agencies of all sizes. I know (SO MANY) small agencies that use HubSpot or Clickup (but I don't --- I've heard good things though!).

I’ve had my agency for 14 years now, and have used Basecamp since day one and it’s outstanding. So not sure why this advisor is not high on this tool? Maybe it’s the size of the agency? We’re more boutique digital and it works flawlessly for our Project management.

I'm glad you've found a project management tool that works great for you! Tools are never a one size fits all (which is why it can be difficult for agencies to find what works best for them) and while it's true that a lot of agencies struggle to successfully use Basecamp to manage their agency that certainly doesn't mean it's not a good tool under the right circumstances. What's important is that you found what works for you!

We use (and love) Basecamp. I think they lagged behind some of the newer tools with features -- but they've definitely put more effort into those things ... like recurring due dates.
