Great video super clear, I just used this to send to one of my photography clients after they had a one day in the field lesson to teach them how to clean their sensor. Big Thanks as they have a canon 5d Mk4 as their camera.

Thank you! It worked! I did put just a bit too much liquid and may have almost had a heart attack thinking I scratched it. Went back with a new dry swab and then a slightly wet one and it's good to go! Wahoo! Not so scary. Thank you again!!

Thanks so much for this! Just placed my order for this on Amazon. (Should be here tomorrow) I had my old Mark III sensor cleaned back in 2019, camera shop and they simply did a not so great job, it was better but still had some noticable specs - price was ugh, not worth the $80 if I recall correctly. Anyway, after shooting a few nights ago, whew...my sensor REALLY needs an overdue cleaning. I honestly didn't realize it was THIS easy. (The idea of touching the sensor with anything, I admit scares me a bit I guess) But, I'll try it and follow along with this video again. Thanks again, have a great weekend!

Hi Brett, I purchased that pack you have. and on the back of the packet it says something like cleaning medium may bring irreparable damage to your ccd/cmos and lenses. Whats your opion on that?

Question. I scratched my sensor on a 5D Mark iv cleaning it. Now, I was told that the sensor needed replaced. Can I replace just the IR Low Pass filter that lays over the sensor or do I in fact need to replace the whole sensor? The camera is only 8 months old.

I have fungus on my 5D Mark II sensor. Is it possible to clean the sensor with 99.9% Isopropyl Alcohol without open the camera from inside?

Camera is a Canon 5D Mark IV Brett, my mirror will not lift out of the way following the menu changing recommendations that you and others have made...I don't know why...I have enabled mirror lock up , I have gone to the yellow menu tab and made the "sensor cleaning" changes there that were recommended.....I say another video where the photographer said to put your camera in "live view" and the mirror would lift....however I didn't hear any rules about whether the camera could be cleaned while on...because the minute I turned off the camera , which was in live view, the mirror dropped again....any suggestions....??? I cleaned the sensor while the mirror was lifted in live view....I'm sure I've ruined my camera:(???
