I love these conversations with women in mind about building muscle mass. Please keep it coming, especially ways to overcome the mental hurdles of gaining size. Would it be possible to hear the journeys of some of your female clients who have gone through and come out on the other side, the ups, downs and in between? Thanks

I think that’s because these guys give the true answers. Which means a lot of the answers can be nuanced, which requires some effort from the listener to understand the info and then adapt it. Unfortunately, most people do not want to put in the effort and would rather have a 5 min video with loads of pictures

Here’s a topic maybe you guys can touch on, overcoming gym anxiety and going to the gym for the first time. What to expect, should you get a trainer, how to find a quality trainer, what weight to start with. I’m almost 35, never been to the gym and the idea of it is a little overwhelming

Hey man, it's been a while since you commented this, but if you haven't already gone, the best way to start is to...well, start. I started when I was 15 or 16 (22 now) and I was terrified the first time I went. The high school weight room was full of football and baseball players and I was just this scrawny little thing. I started out benching and squatting the bar (45lbs) and even needed a spotter lmao. I recommend doing your own research, creating your own workout routine, and just going after it. Don't worry about what weight you're pushing. I've met some of the most genuine people at the gym and I can promise that 95% of them don't give a shit about you lol. Most are just there to better themselves the same as you are. Best of luck!

@@lukaswhughes I actually found something else, archery, hiking, and 2 gun. I know it’s not the same but it’s an activity I enjoy. I realize I could probably still use some weight training and your story might have inspired me. What do you think is better, there’s a planet fitness nearby or there’s a bigger gym around too?

Does this process also apply to women in their 60's...I'm 62 and I'm losing muscle....I do go to a great gym and have purchased your 40's bundle...any advice would be gratefully accepted...thank you guys for everything, you're all amazing, very grateful for you guys🙏🙏🙏🏋🤗

As a short woman who has always been athletic, I'm curious to know what other women my size are doing. I am back in the gym after 3 years of being fairly sedentary and am gaining strength pretty fast. What is considered a decent amount of muscle mass for a 5'0 female? Your female trainer is 125-130lbs but is that a reasonable expectation for your average short female? I consider myself stronger than average but I'm about 105lbs now. I know it's not always beneficial to compare but there are very few women my size in the gym, heck there are very few women who lift heavy in the gym, and those who do are much bigger/taller than me.

So if the scale rapidly increases - (6 lbs in a month) How do you adjust the Macros appropriately? I’m at 32% C / 32% F/36% P and this is my scenario. I maintained pretty well for 8 weeks and saw a big spike on the scale this past week. No way it’s muscle. Waist increased 1/2 inch. 🤷🏻‍♀️

U talk about how it hard to eat 4000 or 5000 calories from whole food am agree with u guys. I have hard time to eat 3400 calories from whole food hahaha Nice information i don't like mind pump podcast i love it and my day can't pass without to listen or watch your Podcast. I wish i should have have bodysplit workout but one day am gonna fixa it thnx u are the best and your information helped us a lot god bless u

What is too much cardio? I am currently clean bulking and once a week I play some fun friendly competitive co ed soccer. It’s so fun and I have a blast every time but everytime I’m done I feel guilty because I can’t help but feel like it’s messing up my gains

Although i agree, women have fitness goals too, but they dont want to be “as big as possible” like us, so they need a more strategic way to training and dieting.
