This worked for me on a Harbinger Mixer. If I didn’t have the 1/4” jack just right the sound would crackle or attenuate. After two rounds of your method it works perfectly now.

I would not suggest using anything other than Deoxit. This is made for electronics and leave no residue. Works great!

If that doesn't work, it might just be a cold solder connection. Just heat up the connections on the jack and it might fix it.

Hope that isn't like Radio Shack contact cleaner (look at the ingredients) because I wouldn't want to be putting a bunch of mineral oil into my amp. I would only use Deoxit D5.

There was pipe leak above my mixer and some of the jacks got rusty.. maybe this will work

That bites, sorry buddy. If it does not work I'd try a gun cleaner kit on it. I'm not sure Deoxit removes rust but I hope so for your sake. Do me a favor and let me know here if it does so I can pass that on if needed later for a viewer. Thanks.
