Hi there thank you for the video! It was great! Question: Why use water based sealer in Florida? Is acrylic based like Cobble loc not recommended in Florida? Thanks in advance for your input.
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash Жыл бұрын
All those sealers can be used but the thing is when it's time to reseal it will cost the customer more money due to having to strip the acrylic sealer. Water based sealers like I used could be cleaned and resealed without stripping. Stripping pavers can make the entire job double in price

Any suggestions on what to use to clean a paved driveway (not sealed) that has car oil stains? I've tried everything and the only thing that seemed to work is to use a propane torch and dry it out, but there are so many stains and large areas of them. The company who put the driveway in put something on the stains (not sure what) but all that did was make a white ring around the stain.
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash 2 жыл бұрын
Oil stains are tricky. Most of the time they wont fully come out. I always tell my customers I dont guarantee 100% removal of oil stains, usually it lightens up and a shadow will remain. Best thing that works for oil is a good degreaser and hot water. If the oil stain has been there for a long time its gonna be more problematic.

No I didn't die. There's a shot showing it before we started. You got some great eyes to pick up on that out of the whole job I must say. The grass was edged along the sidewalks so that part always looks like that.

Cliff hope your doing well my brother, I have a problem and you came to mind. So today I tried using my down streamer 2.1 on the predator 4200psi 4gpm from harbor Freight and it comes with the soap injector but I didn't use it but tried the down streamer twice and didn't work I have it with arrow out to pressure hose but it wasn't pulling out the bucket so I tried my 1.5 injector and it didn't work I tried lowering the throttle , do I need to plug the soap injector? I had to use the xjet M5 for our first pool cage and deck but man xjet makes so much over spray. We came out bleached and clothing spotted just terrible but finished it..It took my son16yrs old and I 5hrs
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash 2 жыл бұрын
Yes. If it has a soap injector built in you must plug the original one. Take the spring and ball out a d out a screw in it to plug it. Thats the only your aftermarket downstream injector will pull. It won't pull with both.

Do you have any trade secrets for getting engine oil stains out of new pavers?
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash 2 жыл бұрын
Not a whole lot of secrets to oil stain removal. Fact is most wont come out completely unless its fresh oil. The longer it sits the deeper it gets into the substrate. There are a few good oil degreasers that works well like Gold Assassin, Sodium Hydroxide , F9 Double eagle, Eaco Chem Hot stain remover just to name a few.

@PinkFlamingoPowerWash

I can tell you how I priced it but not my price cause this is a real business not just youtube entertainment. I price all my paver sealing by square footage. I give the customer one price that included cleaning, sanding and sealing. I don't give them a price for each thing, and also the price covers materials for the job like labor, sealer and gas.
