Very good to know!! The only thing I could find to clean my "new to me" wheels was polishing compound and cleaner wax. It took way to much work and was more aggressive method than I liked, but I couldn't get them clean any other way, till now. Thumps up.

Thats how my rims for my subaru looked like, it was so thick like 1-2 mm of tar that was so freaking hard to remove and brakedust like stone😂 took seriously 35min to get one wheel clean, and now I polished them and they look brand new👍🏼

Thanks again for another great video. I've bought each one of those Meguiars Hot Rims cleaners over the years and thought they were so-so but I always went back to Sonax Total Effect even though it's almost $20 for 16oz. It's WAY cheaper for me to buy the three bottles of your special concoction of Meguiars and mix them at 12oz in a smaller 16oz bottle I have laying around. They should last way longer than the Sonax for half the price!

Another good one! I had one of my alloys off over the weekend, cleaned it up, but not as good as I could have done with your method though. I noticed small bubbling around the stud holes, can you tell me what's the best way to stop them getting worse? thnx.

Incredible mix. I have 82 Mercedes 300D , rims are perfect but worry about killing the finish on the rims. Had bad experience back in the day killing the rims with strong spray. FYI.. Thank you.

Thank you Kyle we appreciate that this is the perfect mix for all wheels it will keep them nice and clean you can use a soft brush after you spray it on and really clean them up nice and then just spray them off with water and then wait to you see the tire shine that we’re going to bring out on the Sundays review

Absolute awesome !I’ve used the meguiars hot rims before and was quite amazed by how it worked a lot like the commercial grade wheel acid we use at work.from what I saw in this video,the combination of the 3 products looks like it will work even better than the commercial grade acid. I’m anxious to try it this coming weekend

Nice!! Btw the driveway oil cleaning method you suggested worked great for us! Thanks! Question: can you recommend a way to get into the tight crevices and clean between front seats?!?! The vacuum will simply not fit in there and in my car (Benz E500) it’s really tight, even if I move the seats back... thanks SPC’s!

Glad we could help you with your driveway and on your E 500 do you have a thin crevice tool for your vacuum if not you can take a piece of 2 inch PVC warm it up and flatten it out on one end so that you can get it down in there If you do it right you can make it a quarter inch thick and that should be able to get down in there

Hi great video I just changed rims on my box truck I put the inside one on the outside it seems just as bad as your rim it has lots of grime and brake dust on it can I use this on a Alcoa aluminum rim thanks

HEY I recognize those rims! Those were upgraded factory rims that came on fords car models like the Crown victoria in the early 90s. My 1993 Crown victoria had a set!

Hey Jay thank you for sharing we like to keep the Tuesday video short and sweet to the point, this mix is really the best we’ve ever found basically you spray it on if you have to use a soft brush you can and you can spray it on the entire wheel and tire works great, most people don’t let their wheels get as bad as the one we had in the video. And super clean is a great product when you can use it straight when you have to dilute it it loses a lot of its cleaning power but we have found if you’re not really careful with it it will stain and there is no getting it out after that happens have a great night my friend

My cars are super dirty I'm ashamed to say! We've had a hose ban here so I can't wait to get cleaning ☺️ I will look out for those products. I do find alloy cleaners quite harsh and stain the discs easily. Plus they stink! 😂

oh one set of my wheels is just that bad on the inside, I used an angle grinder and wire brush on the first 2, the other 2 I gave up. high metal content race/track pads, I don't think you can get that stuff off any way but mechanically

Thank you for sharing the wheels that we did in the video were the worst we’ve ever dealt with in 35 years and this mixture took it right off of the little plastic brush scrub and now all the owner will be able to keep them up looking nice because we are ceramic coating them as well

wish I knew this trick when I was trying to clean the rims on my 60s simplicity dump cart and found out the hard way engine degreaser and super clean hurts the paint bur no big deal I repainted the cart so the wheels will need paint soon anyway👍

Yes that’s why we did not use it we were just making a statement that if you wanted it off there you would have to use steel wool and there are ramifications to using it that’s why we use this mixture my friend have a great night

We have found the super clean is way to caustic and can cause problems with rims and if you get it on the paint you could be in trouble, it is worth it for you to buy these three items mix them together and have at it

The Lacquer thinner is good to get your Tires back to the normal state they should be in it is a once and done with that method then this method here is how you will keep them looking nice for weeks on end

@@SweetProjectCars I wish we were in same town. You sound like someone id enjoy hanging out with and building shit. I just got done swapping steering columns from non tilt to tilt in 1 my rangers. Put leds in cluster and climate control. Mustang dome light with leds. Undercoated with 3m #08881. Changed oil. Used your tire shine for engine bay after cleaning with degreaser and hose. Buffed headlights. I use 3m 3 step clear coat buffing system though. Painted wiper arms. And sprayed rocker panels with clear textured protectant. Now if I can find them led headlight bulbs I got for this truck a while back. Tomorrow ill probably swap 3 leaf springs with explorer 4 leafs I got here. Gonna paint them 1st. Gonna. Paint axle and drive line too tomorrow. Have a good weekend!
