Yes poor spiders like to live under that little gap. You can also do the same thing on your uPVC gutters, keeps them nice and clean and shiny for longer.

You could use the wax on the glass too it acts like water repellent less dust etc sticks on plus it is much easier to clean the glass too

Did you use the car wax previously? I have black on my window boxes but o have never treated them before hand.

Yes it should be fine. Maybe try a small patch first to make sure but it should look great.

i know this is an old video but how would i get the green mould or whatever it is off of my windowsill if its stuck on there u can't scrape it off a tree used to be right next to them for some time before i moved in but i have now cut all the trees down but can't get it off

Try hot soapy water and the white non scratch (important it's the non scratch ones) washing up sponges, this should work. Please subscribe if you can. Thank you and good luck.

Use soapy water, then cellose thinner to clean the stains then wax and buff to finish.

To clarify: you recommend using a car wax or liquid sealant. Not a polish. Car wax and car polish are two very different things. Good tip!

Byron Murray Yeh car wax is ideal. It really does help keep it clean for longer.

He says use car wax but the bottle is a sealant. Use sealant as it will be much easier to apply and easier to buff off and will last longer than a hand applied car wax. try ceramic sealants for cars too.

*Hydrogen Peroxide* and sunlight - briefly. 30% if you can get it, not the 3% stuff it's not strong enough. It's what dry cleaners and professional launderers use on stains.
