Girl ive been watching a "professional" for about 3 plus almost 4 years now and she has never ever shown us how to clean our brushes. Wow. Thank you so much.
@Ninakat3 жыл бұрын
For the ppl watching best way to prevent this from happening is to soak it in acetone and swoosh it around to agitate the acrylic while it’s still wet and soft it’s a good time to do it while the acrylic hardens on the nails. It will come out super easy and fast so you are ready to go for the next set and the next day. Like a paint brush!
@TriceTyme10 ай бұрын
Thank you. No wonder… I was just using monomer.
@1Ataya9 ай бұрын
Thanks a lot!! Should we put oil on it too?
@Ninakat9 ай бұрын
@@1Ataya you don’t need to use oil if it’s properly cleaned before the acrylic hardening in the brush, just as long as you never let it get that way you should be good, dipping it in monomer after getting all the acrylic out before putting it away should be enough to keep it soft, hope this help!

Shoot, while everybody's appreciating that she took her time with cleaning her nail acrylic brushes, I'm over here appreciating that we have this young lady period to help learn how to do things the right way? Way too many ppl tell u to mix the acetone and monomer together but I was seeing that it wasn't working so I soaked my cheaper brushes in the acetone first for a while, and I concur....just like our beloved Ana said, it's all good once u do that and then give them a sip of monomer. Now I've never seen anybody mention the cuticle oil so once again Ana saves the day!!!! 🤗❤💯💅

Same here I was really wondering if I should clean the brushes this way. I have brush cleaner but the brush I was suppose to clean had so much acrylic in it , I decided to risk it and give it a go with this technique and the brush is back to normal working like just before, I think this method would be best to use when the brush has so much acrylic stuck in it but not as daily thing

I just commented the brush might be ruined. Not sure the oil would ever come of completely unless a degreaser is used. Try not to even touch the brush with fingers as natural skin oil would also transfer to brush and cause lifting. Only recondition it by submerging it in monomer.
