Coloring fire with colored pencils. This is a how to color fire with faber castell colored pencils by using a blending technique by coloring lightly with the pencils until the very end were you lay the color down heavy to render the flame colors.

It would be better if the middle or source was lighter and the Colours change to a darker shade white finishing

How do you blend

You have to start with a base colour first and not press too hard with the pencil and taper off towards the edge which leaves a good midtone for the next color, in this case I blended Red, Orange And Yellow, but the more shades you have of a colour you are able to blend better.
