In this video I have demonstrated how to combine two or more than two Microsoft Word documents into one. Method is pretty simple and you can add two documents into one just following few simple steps. when we write our thesis we have to connect different parts of our thesis together and combining word documents is really an easy way to stitch all your documents together.

I have taken two types of page numbers like Roman number for 1 word nd number for another word

No, they shouldn't not. Make sure to check it. If it's your Thesis, combine both without numbering and do the numbering later on for each section. You can watch my video on how to use two different types of numbering format in the same document.
