As he was speaking, the book, “the body keeps the score,” came into mind. I think I might pick that back up. What he is saying is REAL. I had labs drawn a month ago and I noticed that all of my immune system results were low. I couldn’t figure out why until I researched the correlation between stress and the effects on the body. That was a reality check and so was this video. It is so not healthy to live in a constant state of fight or flight. Constantly feeling run down. Yet, it is so darn hard to actually retrain the body d/t an extended period of being in that state. This guy is a genius!! Also, I feel like this is why talk therapy doesn’t really help for trauma .. it’s literally not solely a mind thing. Talking too much about a traumatic situation can actually retraumatize you. Which creates more feelings you’re trying to already get away from. I feel this is why Somatic experiencing is becoming more popular. Getting into the body is where the healing starts then into the mind. I can process more when I feel relaxed. 💕

Very good observation. I've always thought talk therapy was useless, at least to me. And i see family members doing it, and i don't notice much change at all. Stress and buried crap was giving me IBS as well. Stress is a real harmful agent to health, and most feel it is, but do little to change it. All the best to you.

I had a period on my life where ai was dealing with a very difficult family situation. I developed a lot of anxiety - a lot! Even after this situation finally passed my anxiety still raged for a long time, so that even the thought of anything even kin to that situation again would raise my anxiety again - Hence, the power of thought. Finally I have pretty well been able to master my anxiety but I still cannot stand to be around any similar situations.

Same idea with trauma of the event and perps. Now add TBI in the back of the head and frontal with eye damage. It can heal. The event is there and I have healed after I gained knowledge of what was needing to be replaced or repaired. I still have certain things in the brain I can't do inside that time frame. Now I am about usual. This works.

How does this apply when people are on medications that influence the mind or body? Is this then a conflict? Does someone need to come off medication first or the other way around? Or both - keep the support of the medication and the mind for a better life?
@queendaniie39
@queendaniie39 Жыл бұрын
Good point. I think your question is the exact reason I decided to not take psychotropic medications. I want to be in full control of my healing. However, not everyone is able to do that. Trying to heal trauma can actually retraumatize someone if not done carefully. I was actually retramatized but was lucky enough to have decent coping at the time to stabilize myself. So, I guess it really depends on the person. I do feel though, most medical professionals do suggest medications while trying to heal the mind-body.

Try going to an Egoscue center, they teach you how to re-structure your whole body and align it properly through special exercises. Maybe they can provide help for your mother, not sure what they say about having an artificial knee but I think they can help

I advise you the book "Letting go: the pathway to surrender" by David R Hawkins, in this book he explains that the simplest way to get rid of the pain is to surrender to it. For exemple I badly hurt my hand a couple weeks ago, and I surrendered to it, I focused all my attention on the pain completely and my hand healed itself in a couple of minutes. Try this technique if you are in pain

@@aninaghdalian143 no I didn't. I just felt the pain completely, focused all my attention and awareness on it. At first the pain was awful but it quickly decreased, and in a couple minutes my hand was healed. But I have to warn that it may take much longer if you have chronic pain. I suffer from lower back pain, I've been surrendering for weeks and although it decreased, it's still there

I understand pain because I lived in a lot of it. Emotionally physically whatever. I'm happy to say that I'm healed and free from fibromyalgia because people like Joe that God has put on this Earth to help us see who we truly are. We are Divine beings and we are unlimited. Why because God lives within us. If you're in physical pain direct your mind away from the pain as much as you can. You got to focus on something different. It's possible to even forget about the pain if you focus on something else enough. That's basic but live in the end result, go about your life as if you've already been healed from the pain. It's going to be hard for you to do this in the beginning, it was hard for me but I was able to never give up, I was persistent and one day I woke up and I was healed. No more fibromyalgia, no more health issues, I am perfectly healthy always. You got to change the old aspects of yourself and become a totally new person. I hope that helps, go listen to more Joe dispenza because he can break it down a lot better and greater detail than I can in a little comment.

What about autoimmune diseases? Immune system is too strong…
@ManifestWithArmine
@ManifestWithArmine 4 ай бұрын
Autoimmune is what they're calling when the immune system is attacking a stealth pathogen within the system that isn't seen by medical technology. It looks like the immune system is "confused or too strong and attacking itself" when it's actually trying to fight something, and there is inflammation affecting the tissues. If the immune system was really too strong, then a person with 'autoimmune' wouldn't get colds, etc. They would have super immunity, wouldn't they? The body is extremely intelligent and doesn't make mistakes. Hope that helps. I learned a lot of this from Stephen Cabral, another excellent teacher.

Some lacked awarness in many areas in which facilitated trauma. Facilitated by not having expierances to protect yourself from use and abuse. Some from a lack of nurturing and social skills from childhood due to sever neglect and abuse that set you up. Some are living the very real consequences from such. It has effected our lives and our families. Our children. Women, due to age, do not get a redue. We cannot with consciousness and intention create another family. Loss also effects us. Loss of loved ones. Loss of job. Loss of home. Loss of health. Many do not have a support system. Go get help. Ha! Ha! Most lack VOCABULARY to identify issues to EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE their issues and problems. The ciunciling, psychologist and Psychiatrist are pills vs skills. No help if you need and want skills not pills. Self education is all you have. Awarness is a scary thing when you realize it. You grieve a life stolen and the effects that effected not just you but others as well. Self awarness Self realization Personal development Parenting skills. Failure of government, school and churches. Churches want to teach shame and guilt. To endure and you will be rewarded in heaven. Yet, not so much on life skills to have an abundant life.

Wouldn’t it be great if Joe would just tell people HOW to do what he’s talking about so we can heal in 4 days. Instead, you have to be rich to heal. You have to pay him to learn how to heal.

He's not bragging about his work he's explaining the function of the body and the organs and what happens to them when impacted by trauma. There is plenty videos that explain how to do things to support and create stronger function. But he did kind of briefly mention there things like gratitude. So maybe could write down a journal of things grateful for. I did this and things that I find nice to do to beat Cancer. Now I'm 18 years a survivor. Hope this helps abit.
