Thank you. You will need a mixer that has multiple outputs to be able to send the mix to the different people who need to hear the mix. So, a mixer with multiple aux send outputs, or monitor outputs.

I think that the input in Active Speaker should be switched to "Line " if not wrong. In JBL Eon 710 active Speaker I couldn't find the button of Line/Mic? Are there any other settings in that Speaker? Please reply...

Thank you for your comment. I could be wrong, but I believe there is a small white tab on the back of the 710 that can be pushed in or out using a pen or some other small pointed object. This should allow you to toggle between mic and line level.

I'm using a peavey pa 400 and need to power two 15' active speakers but the peavey amp only has 2 trs outputs (not the dedicated passive speaker outputs obviously) but a monitor and a main out, would it be convenient to get a trs to xlr cable to connect the speakers?

ok, now wait. I have a Mackie analog mixer very similar to yours and a K12.2 2000W speaker...I play pre recorded instrumental tracks and live vocals ( my own) with the set up. My XLR outputs (2) are on the back of the mixer but I only have ONE main volume slider on the mixer, Sooo should I be plugging in TWO seperate cables or maybe a split XLR cable (2--1) of sorts into my actual speaker to be sure I'm getting the stereo sound with both my tracks and my vocals?? I only see one input ( for the mixer) on the back of the speaker. This stuff may as well be GREEK to me. My ears are absolutely amazing, but my freaking overall live performance tech knowledge is absolutely the worst. I can't compute no matter how hard I try! I'm used to having my own sound techs for this! LOL.

Thank you for your question. You should be fine with the current setup that you have. You would just need to run 1 output from your mixer to 1 speaker, and the other output to the other speaker. To get a stereo sound, just make sure that you position your speakers on opposite sides of the room (i.e. 1 speaker on the left side and 1 on the right side). I hope this helps.

@@nowzen4240 Ok. Well, with one speaker you will be limited to a mono sound. Your best bet is to position the speaker to where it is able to be directed towards the center of the room. Make sure it is in front of the microphone to avoid feedback.

Hi Pradip! I'm not sure that I fully understand your question. Each channel on this mixer allows you to adjust the high, mid, and low frequencies so that the sound is balanced.

What if I have a base, do I connect it to the mixer or keep it with the speaker

If you have an active subwoofer, you can connect to the PA speakers by going out from the subwoofer's output directly in to the input on the PA speakers. Or, you can connect the main output from your mixer to the PA speakers and connect the mixer to the subwoofer by using an auxiliary send(post fader).

Yes it will. Typically, the larger the room is, the more of a difference it makes.

Question please, I have 2 extra power speakers that I want to connect to my currect set up i have, but I do not want to plug then into The monitor input. I want full control on my faders L/R main output . Now i already have my 2 subs and 2 loud speakers running that I been using. So how can I add my 2 new power speakers into my set up im running, do I just plug Into one of my running speakers output and then to my second and third new power speaker

Yes. I would suggest that you loop the 2 extra speakers together. Use the output from your 2nd speaker to send to the 3rd and the same from the 3rd out to the 4th one.

Hello i have my mixer and my 2 subwoofers and my 2 tops loud speakers. I happend to have a third subwoofer. How do i connect that to my set up

If your subwoofer has a thru output, you should loop 1 of the 2 subwoofers to the 3rd one. If your subwoofer doesn't have a thru output, then you should use an auxilary send from your mixer to go to the 3rd subwoofer.

Yes. You should be able to connect with the proper adapters. If your mixer has an XLR output, you would need an XLR(f) to RCA (m) adapter to connect to your speakers.

@@360avrentals4 does this mean you connect 2 sets of R1280DBs speakers (RCA) to the 2 main outputs (XLR) of the mixer? 1 set has an active speaker (L) that chains the passive speaker (R) so 1 set wired on the Left Main output and another set on the Right main output, which make 4 speakers total driven by the L and R main outputs. Appreciate your feedback!
