Also they in raised tanks they defend overflow by switching off the pump when water levels exceeds the set level. Now in this tutorial we explain on how float switch in connected to water pump " Pump Splicing". In most cases the best option to safe run the pump is by installing float switch. When the well is full of water then its safe for the pump to run but when the level of water is below the sunction point then the float switch switches off the pump. What makes the pump to pump the water into the water tank for about few seconds and stops for hours without pumping the water again?

The box that has a red on/off knob that connects to electricity. We usually on it if we want water and off it when the water has gone up on the tank
