I will also show you how to create a dawless MIDI setup for live playing using Native Instruments Maschine and Ableton Push. this is brilliant thanks mate. Trying to set up my own kit at the moment. I have a thru box like yours and a midi cable leading out to the daw. My question is when the music is being recorded in the daw does it record the instruments as separate channels for editing or is it all combined thanks buddy

Typically, you run the audio out the hardware synths, drum machines and sound modules etc. into a mixer, and then monitors / speakers are plugged into the mixer
