Older iMacs like the 2017 don't have an HDMI port. This is really something to note since not everybody will have the latest iMac. Love the Deadpool poster in the back. Nice set up and nice video

I am using Catalina as well and the option for Input Monitoring does show. So maybe you have to unlock it or do something else.

Hello there! I bought a new macbook air m2 and I have a xp pen 22 2nd gen. I cannot use it though...: My tablet screen disply my loaptop screen but I cannot use my pen. If I check the Input Monitoring there is nothing inside (just empty and I cannot bring it from outsife) so I cannot chek it...Could you please help me if possible? I erased turn off, redownloaded many times....If I try to add through "advanced options" the xppen ".dmg" file is not accessible for selection...thanks in advance for your time

The Mini 7 and the Mini 7W are exactly the same devices the only difference being that the 7W has wireless support and has a 1000 mAh battery inbuilt. Additionally you can also connect it with your android devices. If that is not what you are looking at than the mini 7 does everything else exactly the same.

I got an innovator 16 recently and have had nothing but problems with it since getting it. No matter what I do, it just doesn’t work even though I have all the right equipment. They won’t let me return it for a refund either, any tips?

In Security & Privacy -> Privacy tab (scroll the window on the left and just below Accessibility you will see “Input Monitoring” with a keyboard icon)

-> On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, then click Privacy. -> Select Input Monitoring. -> Select the tickbox next to an app to allow it to monitor your input devices.

Hi Suket, I need help while I connected it with my MAC book and try to use it via KEYNOTE, but not finding any function to allow me to use my pen for writing text. Please suggest what option I need to enable , so I could use XP pen for text or making free flow shapes ( like we use class boards with clalks ).

You cannot use the XP-PEN or in fact any other pen tablet to write text or scribble anything in keynotes, pages or numbers. You would be needing a 3rd party note taking app which has the handwriting or scribbling option or any sketching app for that matter. The XP Pen Tablet works just like a mouse. So it will work with any of the apps you want to use, just like you use your mouse. But with the feel of using a pen. As for the ports with the MacBook M1 or the ones that do not have a USB-A port you would need a Multi port dongle for that. I assume if your are using MacBooks with USB-C ports you already have the dongle to connect external hard drives, pen drives or any USB device.

As I said it will work on the latest Mac as well. Just buy a dongle, that will convert from USB-C to USB-A (full USB, just like you have in your pen drives and hard drives)

When I go to the accessability section to give it permissions the pen tablet option is grayed out and refuses to allow me to click the checkbox. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you clicked on the lock icon in the bottom left corner of the accessibility window. If not do that and then you would be click the checkbox. Other thing you can do is, try uninstalling and then again installing the driver.

On MacOS Big Sur (11.2.2.) it just does not work. Cannot do ANYthing with it, and when installed the correct way it says 'Device not found'. So that's a bummer :((

Click the plus button and search for it. It should be in your Applications folder.

This is something new. You can try a couple of things, uninstall the drivers. Unplug the device. Re-install the latest drivers and then try and connect the device. See if this helps!

If you have done everything like mentioned than you should be able to use it like it should. You can unplug and plug in the pen again. Or restart you PC/Mac once. If it still does not work, maybe you can uninstall the drivers download the latest ones from XP-PEN website and re-install them again.
