How to convert a fire extinguisher to sandblaster!!!

Hello my friends!! In this first video I wanted to show you how to convert an old, unused fire extinguisher into a very useful tool, the sandblaster.

How Sandblaster works: it uses air and sand inside the tank (in this case of the fire extinguisher) and when it is under pressure, it removes rust and old painted colours from metal or other materials.

This will help me with the upcoming restoration projects that i want to restore. So this video is a start to a playlist "DIY tools" where I will upload my handmade tools in order to create the other projects.

φίλε μου εχω 2 ερωτησεις.. με τί κομπρεσερ το δουλευεις? και τί υλικό αμμοβολης χρησιμοποιείς? εφτιαξα το πρότζεκτ σου αλλα εχω θεμα στο οτι φραζει συνέχεια..

Καλησπέρα φίλε. Να σου πω εγώ ο παθών την εμπειρία μ. Στο ότι φραζει συνέχεια μπορεί να πεζει μεγάλο ρόλο το ότι υγρασία του κομπρεσερ λασπωνει τον άμμο. Φυσικά και ο άμμος πρέπει να είναι ειδικός για άμμοβολη όχι οτιδήποτε.

@@neofytoskanaris7533 εχω βαλει υδατοπαγιδα και χρησιμοποιω χαλαζιακη αμμο για αμμοβολη. ( την οποια κοσκινισα. ειπα να το δοκιμασω κ αυτο.)το κομπρεσσερ που εχω ειναι 100αρι...πιστευω οτι φτανει...αλλα παλι..ριχνει λιγα δευτερολεπτα και μετα φραζει..

@@1mangiann τότε θα πρέπει να ρυθμίσεις την ροή του άμμου ουτος ώστε να μην πνίγεται. Επίσης στην μποτιλια πρέπει να γεμίσει και εκεί κάποια πίεση. Είναι θέμα ρύθμισης λόγω ότι τα λάστιχα που χρησιμοποιείς έχουν μικρή εσωτερική διάμετρο. Επίσης ο κομπρεσορος δεν φτάνει να έχει συνεχώς πολλή πιεση. Έχω τον ίδιο 100 λίτρα 2hp. Για κάνε λεπτό δουλεύει αλλά μετά παθενω το ίδιο με εσενα

Ok the idea is really good...... BUT! your passage for the sand is not wide an-off and like one of my teacher have told me a long time ago. There is 2 sort of people some who wont it to teach and those who just wont it to show. Sadly your are on the second group. That said. Your idea (That I'm almost sure is not completely yours) is relatively good after a couple of adjustment. But I will admitted you have cut the corner. So I will not subscribe but for the effort I can give you a like.
