Thanks for this video! I copied the process but didn't have all the exact ingredients, so I used soy bean paste, jalepeno peppers (deseeded) and thai chili peppers (deseeded) instead. It tastes great, though I'm sure your's would be so much better =P

Just made this. I did not have bean paste. So i used Miso mix with a bit of chilli powder and a few drop of soya sauce. I added goji berry as well. It turn up awesome. Top it up with some roasted cashew.

Is it crispy when you eat it? How is the texture?

The texture is usually between a potato and a radish.

If eaten raw it’s similar to radish when stir fried like this it has texture similar to French fries crispy on the outside and a bit soft in the middle also heavily depending on how thin/thick you slight it but it tastes very different from Potato, lotus root tends to be a bit more sweet and slightly fragrant

You can choose whatever flavoring paste you want. It's up to preference. The lotus root can absorb whatever flavor you choose. Be creative! :)
