Steamed Rice / white Rice (long grain) Ingredients:
Rice - 1 Cup l चावल
Water - 1 1/2 Cups l पानी
Salt to taste l नमक
Rice: You can use any type of long grain rice, such as basmati or jasmine.
Water: This is used to cook the rice. The amount of water you will need will depend on the type of rice you are using and the desired texture of the finished dish.
Salt: This can be added to taste to give the rice a little bit of flavor.
How to make perfect Rice steps:
To prepare the rice, start by rinsing the rice in cold water to remove any excess starch. This can help to prevent the rice from becoming sticky or clumpy when it is cooked. Next, add the rice to a pot or saucepan with the measured water and salt, and bring the mixture to a boil over high heat. Once it reaches a boil, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let the rice simmer until it is tender and the water has been absorbed. This should take about 15-20 minutes. Once the rice is cooked, remove it from the heat and let it sit, covered, for a few minutes to allow it to steam and become fluffy. Fluff the rice with a fork before serving. Enjoy!

It seems hard to measure the correct amount of rice and water. I think that would be the hardest part and i would be worried about burning the rice onto the pot. I have steam pots that stack up on top of the pots i want to cook it with the steam pots.

Okay. So how you do it is, 1.5 cups of water per 1 cup of rice. Whatever the cup you use to measure the rice, measure the water with the same cup. Keep the lid on till the little buble form and the water is all absorbed. Take it out of the stove, mix a bit to fluff it and thats it. ❤
