I always make my scones in my Belfast sink so that the bowl is lower and it’s easier to mix

Looks delicious I’m now off to make the refrigerator cake 😋 my grandma used to stand her bowl in the sink to mix as it was a lower for her. In fact I now do the same thing and it is easier for me ❤️ loved the tip with the flour and cleaning the bowl. Thanks Charlie big love debs xx

Mrs H made some scrummy scones for the Jubilee weekend but when we went on Fri to buy clotted cream it was all gone. So she made some in the Rayburn it was delicious, may be the new norm!

Hello there Charlie I’ve just come across your channel whilst searching for aga tips. I inherited my aga and I’ve been cooking with it… well to be honest ….always. I have only ever use an aga. However I find baking in it tremendously difficult. I also have been quite stuck in a rut cooking with it and not venturing out. I found it difficult to actually find all the cooking tutorials simply because they are all with the newest versions of Aga. Helen Bankes from the Old Mill is getting insanely riled up for the coronation. She's doing a running buffet, champagne tower and a Meghan piñata. We are all placing bets on the colour of Camilla's dress (no one has realised it has to be white and gold so I'll be quids in).
