Easy way to pack it is to run a ring of tape around the packing on the core so you can easily slide the body over it. Less sound = more ground. 👍

You should check out the Quiet Cores if you want to reduce the noise. There is a 1 1/8" and a 1 3/8" quiet core insert.

Thanks for the heads up on the spark arrestor screen bolt! I wasn't having much luck separating the two until i watched your video!

@@vegasromaniac how did you remove the bolt from the spark arrestor? I put an Allen wrench in there and nothing is really gripping

@@EschyFresh it has a thread, make sure you got the right Allen wrench, if the thread is rusted and it's gone.. I don't know man a huge pair of locking pliers

I did it once.. And sold the bike. Didn't even bother to check my new one after 300 hours

should have maybe cleaned out the metal screen around the middle to let more sound get into the packing. Once it gets plugged with carbon, the sound damping is restricted.

How did you remove the spark arrestor? I’m having a hard time removing it.

It s a Allen bolt on the inside

that bloody bolt for the spark arrestor.. I just spent an hour getting mine out. Stuck in, rounded the hex head, filed a groove in to get screwdriver in, can only turn it a little bit, drilled the bastard out.

That's the wrong packing it's for 2 strokes it will sound good at first but it will burn out u have to get the packing for 4 strokes it looks its white and is made out of a thicker material.

Fmf powercore muffler are just too loud for any type ridding, throw that crap away or get quiet insert that they keep on backorder

BlackCoffee yes you can some stock mufflers have rivets that you need to drill out . and then replace if there are not bolts

Packing is a SCAM!.....re-packed many bikes and NO difference at all....and I Used the proper 4-stroke Packing. I think it's a giant waste of money on 4-stroke engines.
