So the strat would be to amass locks and once it's ready to be crafted, you lock > check > lock until you get everything you want and spam whetstones/scraps/divines/chroms/jeweller's/fus and sacred orb as necessary to reset?

Sorry I am not sure if I got it right, how does rerolling outcome work? If you apply any currency outcome will be rerolled? Does it include any currency - Catalysts, Blessed Orbs, Armourer's Scraps, etc. etc.?

Can you use the lock on skill gems? I haven't heard anyone mention if you can or not, maybe we can force level 5 enlighten supports?

Well, even if you could it's most likely not worth it since the lock is worth more than the gem. Even if the gem would be worth twice as much as the lock it would still not be worth using the lock as it simply saves you a bad outcome on the double corrupt without guaranteeing that the next lock would give you the right one. As of me writing this comment in SC an awakened empower non corrupted is 38 div and the lock is 40div. edit: misread the gem, same principle ; awakened enlighten is 45div so above logic still applies ^

Wouldn't really be useful, but for science: What if you einhar-corrupt an already locked item to have 30 quality? Would it work with tainted currency then, because it got corrupted through something that does not use up the lock?

Wouldn't the einhar corrupt remove the lock as it is changing/modifying the item (changing quality and making it corrupted)
