you might have ADHD and Autism, if you're wanting to make something and nothing is working cause you can't be bothered? that means go talk to a therapist and ask for mental health professionals cause they can check if any symptoms you have might align with a problem that needs a treatment. check out how to ADHD and do research on mental Illnesses and symptoms of them, that can literally be life saving.

I learned how to make them without having to make a pattern for them but if I'm going by specific design I'd definitely make a pattern. I made a bunny tail and ears after watching a tutorial once. I used a cheap Christmas stocking for the fabric needed because it was my dog's before he died in 2019. I even made a hot cocoa themed bag I can put little goodies like stickers, small toys, and even candy if I want to give stuff away to kids or others I meet at a convention. I'd have another bag for my phone and personal belongings though. It's fun to see what others can make and I use it to learn how to improve on my own.

cool although when I make my tail, I’m going to do the harness to where it’s supported by my shoulders and the base of the tail would connect to it in such a way that it would act as a counterweight if I were to lean forwards.

Here’s another tip! If you have fabric (any really, but also not really any, because it can affect how it looks. Probably felt) line it with the material like the colour around the rim of the fur suit tail backing, AND you can also make the fur suit tail backing the same colour, so when it tilts back you don’t need to worry as much of it looking odd :D
