There is your Business Manager's name and your Business Name (Under Business Info). The latter needs to match your legal documents!

Meta would've set you up a "Business Portfolio" automatically. Which yes, you can log in on the Meta Business App or Business Suite to view messages! And you could, then, follow this video to create an actual Business Manager and link your existing page and assets to it!

Even verifying your BM probably wouldn't increase your ad account limit right away - But I'm unsure what country you're from, even in Canada with a "sole propriertorship", which is all I had when I built my BM initially, I had legal documents from the government proving the formation of a business entity although it was tied to my name.

Thanks for watching! In this case, you got 3 options: 1. Don't verify it. (Not the end of the world. Although, it helps limited potential "bans"!) 2. If you have an LLC or personal coroporation, you could register it under your personal name. 3. You can buy pre-verified business managers. There are a few suppliers out there for this.

Does the business verification cheat apply to a newly created facebook account (< 6 mth)? i tried it on mine and it said it was restricted and was not allowed to create apps nor ads (although i have never put out an ad at all before). I really need help ;(

Yep, still works for new businesses, just did so no later than last month on a new Business Manager! 'Restricted' means your BM is banned. You'll have to find the root cause here and fix it, could be as simple as providing a piece of ID depending on what's been restricted.

Are you certain you have a Business Manager and not a Business Portfolio? Portfolio is a new feature of Facebook, and looks almost to-the-tee to a BM, but is lacking a few features of it...

Hey, I just watched your video and I have a question. I used to have 2 business accounts linked to my personal FB account. I deleted them recently because I didnt need them anymore and I wanted to start a fresh business account. But, now when I try to create a new business account, i receive the following error message: "Unable to Create Account. You have reached the limit of the number of businesses you can currently create." Is there an easy fix to this problem? Does anyone have ever encountered this issues before and knows how to fix it? Any help would be appreciated!

No easy fix there unfortunately - You are, indeed, limited to 1-2 BMs per profile. Even if you delete them, it doesn't reset your limit. You'd have to most likely buy a new profile + verified BM from a supplier out there!

You'd only be able to do so if that specific ID and person has never yet been on Facebook. As for a supplier, there are many businesses out there selling ID verified FB profiles or BMs, all "grey hat" though. @@charles-olivierpoulin2291

The point here is to futureproof yourself. Yes, it will be a problem for the future. It's not "if", it's "when". Would it be with an account restriction, a payment failed, a hack, etc.... Something will happen at some point, for which you'll be thankful to have verified your BM.

Hello bro please i need your help, i have a client that created a personal profile with his business name and then created ,meta business manager and they were running ads for more than 3 months from it it was only messeges ads so no identity verification was required, now they want to create a website and start conversion ads, what should i do to verify the business? 1. should i add the business owner to the business give him full control over then remove the Fake personal account as if i transfered the business to another person? 2.should i just add him to the business and give him full access in case they require any personal verification he can go ahead and upload it 3. create business manager from his personal account then transfer pages ownership to him , and then remove pages from original business manager and start over with new ad accounts? sorry for taking so long :D and thanks in advance

Is a business portfolio the same as a business manager account? I have a personal profile and have a business page, I'm also managing (I'm the admin) 4 other facebook pages. I'm having difficulty sorting out ads as I can't seem to create separate ad accounts for each business.

No, 2 different things! A business portfolio isn't a business manager. You need a business manager to do the above!

You shouldn't have to. Page roles exist outside of neededing a Business Manager! A BM would give you roles primarily for the ad account's payments, not the performance bonus. @@stag3104

Hey Justin, I am trying to ID verify my Facebook profile, however, when I click get started it gives me 3 options... 1, Run ads about social issues and politics. 2, Protect my account. 3, Something else. It will only let me upload my ID if I select option number 1. Should I do this? Even though I won't be running ads about social issues etc? Thanks!

Correct! I did mention the above in the video, where you do need to pick option #1 even if you aren't going to run ads about social issues.
