Just getting started and it's sort of overwhelming... I kind of want to see someone time-lapse their farm's entire progression and just see how much it changes from where they start to the end of yr 1, then yr 2, then yr 3, etc. Would be sick, especially if an experienced player did that... idk, I'm gonna keep learning now, lol.

The way I make anything look good is just by constantly destroying and rebuilding anything that doesn't feel like it's up to scratch to everything else.

You've got one lightning rod that you won't be able to reach without knocking one down. I'd probably put a seasonal decorative plant where the center lightning rod is, and maybe alternate lightning rods with the decorative plants around the edge of that section.

What about scarecrows?

Though this looks pretty, there's quite a lot he did wrong. For instance at 15:52 you can see he struggles to collect the honey without picking the flowers. The way he has that set up will make it a hassle to collect the honey every 3 days. Also he can't collect from all of those lightening rods without having to break one. There's just a bunch of stuff wrong with it and it's not a very practical design though it may look pretty.

Tip: if you have the perk to make every forage item iridium quality don't bother with the truffle oil, it's not as valuable as the iridium truffle.

this inspired me to go revamp my farm! so excited to get started after i finish the layout on the planner!

I use it to make an aesthetically appealing farm that is also functional for my need :D I then copy it to my game.

maybe at the pig feeding spot u could place some lighting rods so the pigs wont eat all of the grass and u wont have to re plant the grass every time

Currently hating myself for picking the river farm layout

I focus more on farm animals than crops (I have four barns and two coops) so I'm gonna need wayyyy more grassland than what's here but thanks for the Stardew Planner website. I just got into the game and I'm definitely gonna use it to plan for my Year 3.

This is nice. I like it. I think you forgot the scarecrows at the ancient fruit area though (also the middle lightning rod cannot be harvested) but it is really nice. I am definitely gonna give it a go.

A blank canvas on Stardew Planner can be overwhelming to new people. It's like a blank page in a sketch book. The one downside is Stardew Planner is, you can't move the greenhouse yet. Like in game

I feel like I would be more impressed if you didn’t use any mods for this video. Sure it will take forever, but that’s what everyone else starts with. Anyway, I run the Forest map. I have a ring of starfruit around ancient fruit in my greenhouse. Toss all of those when they are ready in a keg for 7 days for wine. I’ve decked out the basement with over 100 barrels for bumping up the quality, but I don’t fill them all at one time. 41 wine on the last day of a season, ready in 2 seasons. 41 wine on the 14th day in the next season. Same principle with the 3rd bout of wine. I snag about 300,000 when they are done. But it’s constant if your timing is right, no waiting 3 seasons for iridium quality at a bulk price of 1,000,000. Most of my buildings, minus animal, are on the green patches so I can have grass for my animals. 2 storage barns, one upgraded, holds the machines for artisan goods and whatnot. Two designated farming areas, one seasonal crops, the other flowers with bee houses. I think I had a Junimos hut at one point, but I got rid of it. I’m now saving up for the obelisks.

No scarecrows?
