Great information, thank you for that. I am familiar with the vector programs as I have a CO2 laser also, SVG is my friend! Lol. Couple questions though, 1- how do I offer a set of 3 digital files for one download as like a bundle? 2- how do I set up a commercial license for professional use? They typically are a lot more expensive than files just for personal use. Appreciate your download help book will give that a read through. And appreciate your help.

Hi Kate! I’ve watched a few of your videos and they’ve been very helpful! I’m thinking of starting an Etsy shop with digital coloring pages, I use procreate for all my art and I’m not sure what types of files I would be selling. Im also curious, what does DPI affect? You can adjust your DPI when creating a canvas but it doesn’t seem to affect anything on my end. Do things change when exporting? (My DPI is set to 132 on my normal canvas of 2300•3000px) Thank you!

Super helpful video! With print products how does someone do quality control? If wall art, I would think getting a test print makes sense, but when at scale with a bunch of SKUs, this seems expensive and time-consuming.

I'm really hopeful and I'll add more files( Pdf) in my listings and will see the results. I mostly use Procreate and Canva for my wall paintings, art cards and it's really easy to use. Brilliant! This tutorial came in time! Thank you so much! 💜 2 questions: 1) when offering a printable that can be both for posters and stationery, what sizes and how many do you offer? As in 4x6 all the way to 24x30? That a lot of files… which brings me to my next question 2) can you do a video on how to use Dropbox or Google drive for large files to be sold on Etsy?

Hey there! So for the sizing question, I’d say create separate listings for the poster sizes and stationary sizes. You could either make separate listings for each size or bundle and offer a few of each in each of the main listings (Ex: stationary listing would include files for both 4x6 and 5x7). Hope that makes sense! And that’s a great idea for a video! Briefly, you’d just upload your file onto Google drive or Dropbox and then create a PDF file with the link to the folder in it. That PDF file would be what you upload to your listing so the buyer will get it after purchasing and can click the link to have access to the folder :)

I’d say look at including JPG, PNG, and PDF. Look at what your competitors are including in similar listings!

Great question! You can as long as the phrase or quote isn't trademarked. You can do a trademark search for the US on the USPTO website to see if it is or not. Definitely don't want to use anything that's trademarked or copyrighted :)

@@myjourneythroughgrace I found this video where they explain it, basically you need to check on each item used by clicking in the 3 dots and then click on the "free" or "free for Canva Pro" or whatever else that says the and read their conditions. Thanks for this video. I have a new Etsy shop and have uploaded 5 digital prints. I would like to be able to offer digital planners and wasn't really sure how to go about creating them and then uploading the files. I have seen some listings that seem like they are offering variations within their listing, but I didn't know how to upload them. Thanks for clearing that up. Unfortunately Etsy's help isn't really that helpful in my opinion.

Hi Kate! I have a question. I typically create POD products but looking to switch over to digital products. When selling POD, I always put "made by another company or person- print shop" on etsy. If I am using artwork from creative fabrica but mixing it in with my own designs for digital products, would I still put made by another company or person for digital products? thanks so much!

Hi Kate! I’ve started an Etsy page in the fall of 2022. I have one file that customers are saying is low resolution. It was made with a transparent background, 300 DPI saved as a PNG. All of my other files seem to be fine! Did I miss something?

Hay there, I do have a question when it comes to the sizing and the files. I see alot about for example; ratio 4.5 being for 16x20 - 8x10 - 4x5. ect so I read that if you make the highest in that ratio, the costumer can resize them to smaller sizes for printing at home, is this how its done or should I literally make all sizes in the ratio possible? would you then put all these different sizes in 5 different maps in a zipfolder or all together in one just 5 different ratios. I hope my question is clear, beginner willing to learn and flourish here 🌻

Been doing lots of research on this for last 6 months so thought I’d try and assist, although you probably have since found your answer. Essentially what you do is create one file for each of the various ratios you are looking to offer i.e 4:3 ratio, 2:3 ratio, 3:4 ratio at the highest size available under each of these ratios. As part of your listing you can include an image that details all the ratios and the respective sizes that fall under them & it’s up to you what file type you wish to provide (I.e PDF, JPEG or PNG) if you want to provide each of the file types, then in total you’d create 9 digital files - each file type for each of the respective ratios you are offering so you’d end up with 3 PDF, 3 JPEG & 3 PNG files 😊

I use inkscape to draw my clipart's to sell on Esty and I just sell on PNG format with transparent background , I give variations of colours in all designers, I am happy , Thanks for your videos.

Hi thank you for this video. My question is about PDF files that I have created in Canva. I’ve had to take the PDF file into adobe acrobat so that I can remove the meta-data. What I’m talking about is, after you download a PDF on Canva and you go and open it, all of your personal information shows up in the Finder window such as where and when it was created who it was created by and it even says what Canva template was used. Do you know how to remove this without going into acrobat? If not do you just leave this information there with the customers being able to see it? Also depending on what software the customer will use to open the PDF will they be able to edit the file or do we need to put a password lock on it so they can’t edit it? Also will all the fonts that you create the template in be available for any customer or if they don’t have that font on their computer will your PDF that you create look different? Sorry for all the questions but I haven’t found anyone that can answer any of these. Thank you

iPad Pro, size depends on if she wants the big or small one. Procreate works best on the pros.
