OMG. This was SO BRILLIANT. I've been struggling with this and having to use Printiful's horrible mockups because embroidery looks so different I couldn't just put words on a shirt and think it looked like embroidery. Thank you so much. I have to say, you give such helpful info so often. You offer things other KZfaqrs don't. This video convinced me to sign up for your POD Connection thingie.

I hand embroider things for myself but wanted to add it to start doing embroidery on my Etsy but wasn’t sure how because hand embroidering items on my own would take forever since I don’t have an embroidery machine.

Thanks Taylor, I love how you explain things, Printify should have the option to do embroidery so I'm not using two POD companies, I started with Printify because everyone said it was better, maybe one day I'll try Printful to see how the quality is, Thanks Taylor have a wonderful day ☺️

I think the challenge with printify and embroidery is it’s really dependent on each individual print company offering embroidery whereas Printful is the print provider themselves. I have ordered several samples personally from Printful and quality is great🙌 I use multiple print companies for my business and while it seems daunting at first, it really can be beneficial for scaling out.

I've thought about doing embroidered sweatshirts, I allready do hats, but I worry about puckering of the sweatshirt where the embroidery is or issues after washing the sweatshirt. Do you have any thoughts on this? Thanks for your great videos, learned a lot from you!

I’ve personally ordered several embroidered items from Printful as samples and they all have been fantastic even after several washes.

Awesome - thanks for doing the supplier process too!! Few questions though… 1-Digitization fee - if you are personalizing wouldn’t you also be charged a fee each time because technically it’s a new design each time? 2-you used all 1 color, do they charge more for more than one color thread? 3- rather than screenshot couldn’t you download their mockup image and have a better quality to grab the embroidery from? 4- do you think Kittl background remover works as well as Canva? I have found Canva to work really well - I have better luck with it then photoshop sometimes! I think personalized embroidery is a big seller so would definitely be interested in seeing more of that process. 😊 Thank you!!

Hey Diane! Such good questions, here we go: 1. Yes, new design will give you another digitization fee. So you definitely would want to price accordingly! 2. I’m not 100% sure, generally just the bigger the design is where I’ve noticed the cost go up. I recommend trying it out and calculating the price to see! 3. You definitely could! For me, this is just the quickest and still turns out great. 4. Kittl’s background remover can work for this as well. I generally keep all my mockups in Canva so it makes it one less step doing it all in Canva for me. 😊 If you were to sell a personalized embroidery item with Printful, you can super easily just edit the template to modify the personalized portion before submitting the order. 😊

Only one problem is printful is not free where printify can be used for free. For printful it is mandatory to get membership 😢

Really? I don’t pay for Printful but I’m not sure if that’s because I’ve had a high volume of sales through them. I’ll have to look into it!
