I am a health coach. I haven't figure out my niche yet. I help people learn how to eat well and to create balance in their life through food on and off the plate. I really haven't honed down a specific philosophy beyond that. This is the philosophy I'm borrowing from my certification program. I do agree with their philosophy but I want to make it my own. I haven't figured that out yet. I am just now seeing a few clients to gain experience and I believe over time I can hone in on my own personal philosophy through continued experience. I am more of a hands on learner than a book learner.

That's the secret recipe, Ginger! Starting with a borrowed philosophy is great. The more experience you gain, the more you'll get to tweak that philosophy and methodology and make it your own ;) ❤

I really enjoyed this video because I am formatting a new coaching philosophy. It helped me because you said it should be updated consistently- and I am an improvisational instructor. Is it possible to curate the philosophy as I go along?

Great question, Charly, and of course! A coaching philosophy - such as a coaching methodology - should be and will be constantly updating in time. As you gain more experience, knowledge, and tools in time, you should revise your philosophy along the way, see what still applies, see what needs changes, adjust and tweak as needed.
