For those who want a written pattern I've done my best! Foundation round: ch 4, slip stich into 1st chain Row1: ch 2, and into the 'eye' of the circle work 5 double crochets, ch 3 slp sitch into the 'eye'. Ch 2 and turn. Row 2: This is a repeat row until you are finished! Into the ch 3 'eye' you just made make 5 double crochets ch 3, slip stitch into the eye ch2 and turn. when you have the size bookmark you want you fasten off. To fasten off, ch1 and make a LARGE loop of that chain. cut that chain in half and tug out the yarn still attached to your ball/skein. Weave in your end by threading through the bottom loops of the DC's of two or three sections of the bookmark. Tassel: wrap yarn around your fingers or an object the thickness you want your tassel (this tutorial wraps it 3 time between four spread fingers.) Cut the loops on the end with the tail of the yarn. Attaching the tassel: fold your tassel threads in half, using your hook (or a larger one) thread the middle fold through the eye of the bottom shell to make a 'loop' pull the tail end of your tassel through the loop and tighten. Congratulations you now have a bookmark!

Hi! I have a small suggestion, I think you should pin this written instructions as well in your comments so people would see it first as well instead of having to scroll down to see it in a comment. This is a lovely pattern and I am about to try it out myself, very clear instructions. I got a little confused with the switching up of the ch. 2 - ch. 3 😂 wondering why that patter was written that way instead of one or the other. Interesting none the less I think. I love this though! Amazing work and teaching. Thank you! 😊❤

@@positivitywithcrochet thank you. I have since made 2 bookmarks. I find the Lion Brand 24/7 cotton yarn worked best. It is silkier and more elegant. I also used the Sugar n Cream (cotton) and that one, still nice is a bit more chunky. Will try your crosses next. Thank you so much. I am having a ball!
