Oh my, would love to see this a bit slower and with you actually telling us what you are doing. This was so intense to watch LOL. Please don't be offended, appreciate you sharing this with us, but it was quite difficult to understand so we could duplicate. Love ya :)

I like having the instructions displayed on the video. It's like viewing the written pattern and video at the same time...which is how I taught myself how to read pattern instructions. The music doesn't bother me because I can turn it down. Also, I have 2 young active boys in the house so most of the time I couldn't hear the talking in videos when I'm in the same room with them. I have been watching your channel for years...the puff stitch slouchy beanie was one of my first hats. I appreciate all you do and provide to the crochet community!

I'm halfway done making my first pot holder and its looking awesome! I don't mind the music and lack of verbal instructions but when starting a new section or new stitch a closer view at a slow speed would be much easier to follow. I had to search KZfaq for a different tutorial for the thermal stitch. Thanks for the great pattern though!

I'm starting to watch this & all I'm hearing is music....sorry but I prefer narrative...I'd like to hear you talking, please. The potholders are very nice. Since mid-Aug. I've made 22, I believe....all sorts of designs...I always make mine double thick....I've given away maybe 14.....who doesn't use potholders, after all ? Even if all you do is heat water in a tea kettle or nuke everything, you need potholders! I also use mine as soft trivets. And it's a quick project....fun to experiment w/stitches.

Had to slow down the video to 25% to figure the i-cord. Finally got it. I used peaches and cream cotton, came out really thick which is nice. 21 stitched made it 8 x 8. Music had to be muted as well and the text sometimes made it hard to see the stitch instruction. Just some constructive criticism for a nice quick project that came in my email. Thank you.

Thanks for your tutorial. I'm making a pot holder and hot pad set for my son & this will be perfect. I also love your hanging loop. I've usually just made a chain & then sc or chst back down it before looping and attaching. I think your hanging loop looks much better on such thick items. And the tip I saw on your blog about using Lion Brand's Woolease Thick and Quick for swatches is a good one! I've purchased a package of 'Avery Strung Marking Tabs' to use to identify swatches I make, writing down the stitch name(s) and maybe the pattern for the beginning row and repeating rows on the back. That way I'll know if I like making the stitch or not and how it might look on a project. Just a tip from me (not my own.... I read it somewhere but thought someone else might like it.) 🙂

I'm just going to say this because I am not the only person who is searching for instructions on how to do this: 1. You don't need to play music that loud 2. You are going way too fast and without verbal instructions for anyone to understand what they have to do and be able to keep up. While I understand the importance of learning how to make a thick stitch, I think I will have to continue to search for the instructions. In the meantime I will continue to make double-sided hot pads while using the half double crochet stitch. This stitch has not disappointed me yet.

After SEARCHING on your links I see that this uses a 6.5 mm hook. I didn't see that in the video. Inquiring crocheters need to know...LOL Nice stitch. It was a bit fast and I turned down the music. But all in all nice potholder.

Hi! I have a question. Am I allowed to make something of yours and sell it. I know to never pass off work as my own (which I wouldn't) but I don't know if I'm allowed to sell items made with the free patterns you provide. I'm a stay at home mom, I've been making items to give away to friends/family and I recently started thinking about maybe selling some things. I hope to hear back from you!

On first off love ya and your work. But can I please share a lil info. When you have your videos researching at such fast pace and the music is ab intense rapid beat the people with health issues can figure out If they can slow you down, and if mute is seen option. Just a mention .. The details are really hard to catch. I loved the potholders like yes! My kind of thing. But the info is up and gone before it's read let alone comprehend hahaha I don't mind a rewind( lolol no pun intended) once and a while but ever step of the way. I have many older fiber family and friends they wouldn't even be able to stay to set the fabulous gifts your sharing. Even if you spoke at the beginning to say you may need to slow the vid and its text instructions not spoken, mute is an option too.. enjoy I don't know. Im only mentioning because i had a complete anxiety attack and I love music. I was so busy trying to catch what was typed by the time I realized the music had me racing. ZOWWIE! LOLOL NOW, the I cord st.. cool beans. I think you said.. texted it was a st avail elsewhere, not sure I'll go look. Again not coming atcha crazy just thought it might help for some of your viewers. Maybe its nothing for concern. Than you bunches 🤩really like it.. will start again later 🌺
