I don’t know who needs to see this but I’ll let you know if you’re thinking about getting in the car business it’s the best decision you’ll ever make in your life! Two months in the car business I lead my store in sales and I still want more! Be the person who breaks the poverty cycle for your family and build generational wealth. BE GREAT! you are a natural thats why it clicks for you. I think for most it wont but it doesnt hurt to at least try. It's a good skilset to know how to sale and build relationships amongst people.

I had worked at my dealership for 3 years before transferring over to my car sales department. Even though I had worked at the dealership I still had to interview for the position. I felt like I brought a lot of good energy to the interview not only because they knew me already but because I was excited about the position. My GM asked me in the interview how much do you expect to make in your first year and I said no less than 100k and he laughed. My response was if there are people here who are doing it I know I can. Gave me the position and my very first year i made 130k

i feel you! i had the same thing happen to me yesterday, hired on the spot over 135 people. all because i shot them a message checking in on the application showing i really want the job.

I had 10% faith in my self and watched this before my interview ( I have dreadlocks and never would have thought I would be considered) and I got the job on the spot. I’ve been rejected for much much lower paying jobs. Thank you.

Applied yesterday, received a call today, and I have an interview tomorrow. It was so sudden that I almost didn't accept it but I knew that if I didn't..someone else was going to take my position! Hi there! The general sales manager only asked me ONE question and it was "tell me about yourself" ..this is literally the perfect opportunity to sell yourself bc you're given control of the conversation. I went in with a mindset as if I was already hired, I closed off my intro with "When can I start? I'm ready to be on the sales floor." **depending on the vibe of the interview, it may be different but if you have a feeling they alr like you then do itttt lol They have your resume and know your job experience alr so you don't need to talk about that. Just remember that these ppl have been in sales for years so they do not care what kind of experience you have. As the GSM stated, "We prefer a person who has no experience in automotive industry, we want someone who we can mold." If you're hired on the spot, take care of your background screening right away. This will show them that you're eager to start working asap. Andy's video really helped aLOTTTT. Just practice, be adamant and confident. Goodluck! @@TrizzyGamingz

Yes ive gotten the same question and they do prefer someone they can mold i was in a interview for mazda with everyone having a background in sales and omvic licenses whilst i only had door to door experience w/o license furthermore got the job. This video really helped.

Watched this video one hour before I walked in to a dealership. I didn't have a interview with anyone. I asked to speak to manager. they said I love your energy. I did everything that was said in this video. I told them about how there is a lot of new cars here compared to the other lots. I walked out of the dealership about an hour later with a salesman position. I start next week. Thank you for this video!

Hey brother, I just want to say thank you for this video literally aced my interview for BMW Auto Group. I did a job interview on Jan 3 3:00PM crush it then moved on to interview #2 on Jan 4 3:00PM then by 6:30PM I got the call to let me know I received an offer. I was able to speak to all the 4 sales manager then the general manager in 2 days. Since I had NO experience in the automotive industry at all they’re putting me first in their learning program to study and get to know BMW product and everything about it. But during my interview I expressed my desire to be on the sales floor as fast possible which is why I believe they recommend me to get the familiar first with the cars and such. I look forward to the grind. ✅✅

Three and a half months into my first car sales (sales/commission, in general) job and I love it. I’ve still got a lot to learn, but I’m making more money than ever before, I’m working for a company that treats me well, and l feel like I actually have a purpose at work. I just interviewed for a sales floor position for the first time with no experience, the first interviewer informed me that they don't hire for sales with out experience. I kept talking anyway, convinced him to let me talk to the GM , the GM came out and invited me back to shadow a sale and see if I still want the position. This video put me in a position to say and do all the right things. I'm 100% convinced if I had not watched this I wouldn't have gotten past the first interview. Thank you Andy!

It’s crazy how hyped Andy is, I never saw myself applying or even getting a interview at a car dealership, not only this video motivated me, but change my perspective on myself and gain the confidence that I always had in me. Walked into my interview with my nice navy blue suit and brown Oxford shoes and a whole set of confidence because of Andy, and I nailed the interview and got hired right away. I’ve always had people/customers telling me I’d be a great car salesman. I have almost a decade of customer service, leadership, & other experience under my belt. My father has been a mechanic his entire life so I know cars pretty well. I’ve decided that I’m tired of making poverty wages. I want better for myself and my family. This information is accurate and can be applied to many different sales positions, not just for car sales. I've been in suit sales prior and found myself needing a job again, but I was all over the place in applying to places. This has helped me get back in the right mindset so I'm not caught off-guard with responding to interview questions 👏🏽👍🏽

I just wanted to say thank you! I had two interviews this week and didn't perform well on the first, so I came here to prepare for the second. I followed your tips and the Sales Manager told me "I dont see why we wouldn't hire you." Needless to say, I think I got it and its the dealer who I wanted to work for. I'm happy that I went to the first interview at the place I wasn't as excited to work for though, I feel that it, along with what you had to say, helped me be better prepared for the second interview.

Andy, I've been in the people business for over 37 years but not the car business. I watched your videos and WANTED to become a Car Sales Associate. I've done a lot of interviews but not for a car dealership and I've never sold a car in my life. SO, I watched your videos, did and SAID everything you told me to say and guess what? HAHAHA! I'm not kidding I got hired ON THE SPOT... TODAY at a large car dealership in the Sales Managers office. He hadn't even looked at my resume, I didn't even sit down! I found this video after the fact. I’m 24 I walked into a dealership and I wasn’t even prepared to speak to someone but i just so happened to have my resume in my car ;) they didn’t need it because my personal outweighed that piece of paper. I was just speaking off the top and they gave me the job on the spot.

I watched this before my interview at a Jeep/Nissan dealership. I listened, Dressed the part, came prepared & asked them questions; And you know what happened? I got hired on the spot. And that's coming from someone whom has had zero direct sales experience but retail. Now the only heeby jeebies I have, is how to navigate in crushing sales when I'm naturally introvered. lol. Amazing video! I had an interview at Nissan 2 hours ago for a BDC Agent position (appointment setter). I spent the whole morning watching this video over and over again and also on the way to the interview, and needless to say that I CRUSHED that sh*t. I was interviewed by the 2 sales managers and they decided to give me a SALESMAN position that they hadn't even offered online. Thank you Andy.

A recruiter for Coastal Kia came in to my workplace today and told me I'd be a great car salesmen! We joked around for a bit and he asked how old I was; (17). He said it was a shame that I wasn't 18 yet, then he asked for my last name and said he would tell the guys at the dealership. He also told me he would remember my last name in case I applied. Cars are something that I am passionate about, and I've always wanted to work at Coastal Kia! I have about 6 months to prepare before I turn 18, but I'm gonna learn a lot and go for gold! 😁

I like your enthusiasm. It's addictive. I learned that customers lean on confidence and enthusiasm, especially if it's specifically aimed at the customer's needs, wants, and concerns. I used to work at a Firestone in Columbus Ohio that set a national profit record in 2005, and is always in the top running in other years. Meeting people's needs can be very rewarding, and naturally drive up your enthusiasm level if you're not always thinking about yourself. It will fuel you to thrive in a busy demanding environment day after day.

This is the best interview video I ever seen it’s actually motivation. I’m not in the sales industry but I’m in the refinery industry and I am 21 years old just starting out with my first 8 months and I’m definitely going to use every attribute he said and lately the amount of self education I been doing is crazy just eager to learn. I worked at a Honda dealership in the Poconos in Pennsylvania for three years after I left a place working six years at a Volkswagen Mazda store. Left the toxic environment that was the Honda store. Went back to the Volkswagen Mazda store and doubled my income. Attitude and confidence is everything. Be the lion of burning desire!!!

My coworkers keep telling me to get into sales, but my biggest concern is making the leap from a steady paycheck to commission.
