Love this video. Super easy to follow. What about if you want your frame of glasses to be same as bow but you want an opening IN the glasses to show your eyes or one eye open & the other winking/closed? That's where I'm having an issue

You would need a design that had the glasses as a seperate layer, or slice them off to make them a seperate layer. To show the eyes, you would slice the lens out and delete :)

Love this, thank you!! Can you tell me why I can't get "slice" to light up when trying to slice music notes onto the sunglasses? I got the music notes from design space.

Select all of your music notes and weld them together first. That will make them one layer. Then you should be able to slice. :)

This is cricut design space :) it's in the title and I say it at the beginning of the video :) I also have a video o. How to do the same process in silhouette studio if you prefer that software.

you might be cutting the image too small, or using the wrong setting. what design are you cutting for the bow and glasses and how large are you cutting the whole image?

How do you get the highlights to cut as a layer?

The highlights are a part of the design. Just upload and cut :)

@@SimplySarah_MadeEasy I figured it out. Ty so much for replying. It means so much. Is it possible to explain to me step by step how to change the patterns on the mom life pattern? That one has been requested and I'd like to conquer this. My struggle is the ungrounded, slicing, taking images away, changing them, and returning them back. It's all so confusing. It's really difficult to follow what you are doing on your screen. Too small for me to see. If you can't help, I completely understand. Ty :)

I bought a Epson printer and sublimation ink and tried to make the messy bun, but it doesn't look like the pic when I print it. I don't see the highlights in the hair, I can barely read the #Momlife. I need HELP! I'm trying to make them for my daughter's for Mother's Day ahhhh I thought it would be so easy. It's not for me. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Hi Annamaral. without seeing your process, i am guessing at what might be going wrong. did you flatten the image prior to printing, and do you maybe have bleed on? if so, you want to turn that off :)

@@SimplySarah_MadeEasy I had the bleed on. I got that figured out. I printed two leopard mugs yay! Now I'm trying to figure out how to make the camouflage one. I keep watching your video and then going into my cricut and I'm a mess lol.
