You buy them when they are not ripe, you wait for it to be ripe not the other way around. People who squeeze them at the store to check if they are ripe drive me insane. Extra tip: if you want to speed up the ripening process just put them in a paper grocery bag and let them produce high concentrations of ethylene in the paper bag. (Ethylene is produced by plants and promotes the ripening process)

This is sad that I didn't know how to properly cut avocados being that I cook. I'm glad I came across your video. Your instructions were spot on and easy to follow. I sought out how to properly cut avocados because I plan on making homemade vegan avocado-coconut ice cream soon but mainly smoothies with avocados blended in them. Thanks for doing this wonderful video!
