I don’t see how any was wasted minus making the spirals for presentation. However this was much better instruction on cutting it vs another video I saw just before this one. I just needed to know easier way to cut it up without a lot of waste or mess so it looks like I was doing it “right” after all. Thank you!

hey johnny , can you eat the core of the pineapple even if im not grilling it? can I make more things with the core like sauce or a marinade?

You will find it tough and fibrous. But I am sure you could use it for something that will be strained. there is plenty of flavor in it.

Should you leave the core? Not sure how the core will be if you are grilling a pine apple.

Well James I usually only do that pineapple once a year. I demo how to do it to my to start knife skills eacy year. to show my classes. So I know it is not perffect, but the technique is correct.
